No doubt the Greenlanders will take this loss hard, with the long and proud baseball tradition of that nation. Unfortunately for them, they were not able to field an impressive team this time around, but in Greenland there can be no doubt that in that baseball culture they will return in force next time. For Australia, the rapidly growing baseball hub of the Asian region, this win shows that they have finally clicked, after a somewhat shaky start, only defeating Canada 2-0. Australia's emerging baseball scene is drawing young talent as well as players from around the globe, and with this tournament Australian baseball seems finally to be coming into its own. Australia will play the winner of USA vs. New Zealand, both of those teams looking like they should pose a fierce challenge to Australian might in the next round.
